The Spain Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai has a clear motto – Intelligence for life. It sets out to showcase the country’s resourcefulness and openness for innovation. The purpose behind it? To preserve and ensure a great quality of life for those who call this planet their home.

With a total of 6,000 m2, we were responsible in a joint venture for the technical development, production, technical operation and maintenance of the exhibition area. Visitors are expected to engage with highly sensorial and interactive exhibits that tell a story of Spain’s determination to create a sustainable future. It was also an excellent opportunity for us to highlight our efforts in constructing the metro route to Expo 2020 Dubai. One of the highlights of the pavilion was a sculptural piece by Daniel Canogar designed to be suspended from a ceiling and surrounded by a spiraling ramp. It is composed of screens with three interlaced loops that symbolizes Spanish identity. 

The Expo is an excellent opportunity for a country to brand itself within a unique international platform. Spain has much to offer the world and we worked with our country as a committed partner to an international community.
