Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library

A library for leaders of tomorrow

Libraries are gateways to knowledge. They equip members of its communities with essential information. By absorbing past lessons, one can tackle the challenges of the future.

This library pays homage to President Olusegun Obasanjo who conceived this project in 1988. The library commemorates his legacy and was established as a national archive for the preservation of documents and materials used by the former president during his tenure in Nigeria. It aspires to educate the next generation on the importance of leadership and citizenship.

We provided the technical development and museographic implementation in collaboration with Ralph Appelbaum Associates (RAA). The museum within the library highlights the chronological story of the president, celebrating his presidential career and legacy. It also contains exhibitions on African visionaries. It is a multifaceted experience which hosts original artifacts, digital interactives, and audiovisual installations.

Our shared mission is a hopeful one as we wish to inspire the next generation to become leaders.
