Navigalia: Rescuing Christmas

Navigalia: Rescuing Christmas, the new story of Navigalia

Navigalia returned to the Guadalquivir River with a renewed concept under the title “Rescuing Christmas, the new story of Navigalia.” This year, ACCIONA Living & Culture has strengthened its commitment to innovation, transforming Sevilla into a unique stage filled with magic, light, and sound.

Following the previous edition, Navigalia incorporated cutting-edge technologies in projections, lighting, and special effects. Among the improvements introduced were larger water screens, high-reaching water jets, flamethrowers, and aerial lighting effects, all of which added a new visual dimension to the show. The Bridge of Triana remained one of the central elements, illuminated and mapped in perfect sync with the music and projections, creating an impressive visual spectacle.

The show took attendees on an adventure alongside Fernandus, the city’s protective spirit, and Curro, a young Sevillian, to rediscover the true meaning of Christmas. The story filled the city with wonder, excitement, and hope, creating a magical atmosphere.

With this second edition, Navigalia reaffirms itself as one of the most remarkable cultural offerings, establishing itself as one of the most anticipated and cherished events in Seville’s Christmas season.
