ACCIONA Living & Culture lights up Sevilla’s Christmas once again with a new edition of 'Navigalia'

ACCIONA Living & Culture will be responsible once again for designing and executing the audiovisual show 'Saving Christmas, the new chapter of Navigalia'. The show will run from December 20 to January 4, with six daily performances, except on December 24, 25, and 31, and January 1.

After the success of the previous edition, which attracted over 250,000 spectators, this year, the artistic and visual proposal has been refreshed to once again surprise locals and tourists with an innovative show combining music, projections, special effects, and lighting. To achieve this, ACCIONA Living & Culture will use higher-capacity projectors, increase lighting power, incorporate new special effects and flamethrowers, and develop a new storyline inspired by Christmas icons and traditional elements. ‘Saving Christmas, the new chapter of Navigalia’, will last approximately 12 minutes and will feature Fernandus, the protective spirit of Seville, and Curro, a young Sevillian teenager. Together, they will embark on an emotional journey to rediscover the true meaning of Christmas. This year, to enjoy Navigalia, tickets must be purchased in advance at the symbolic price of one euro through www.lamagiaestaenelrio.com, available starting today. This measure is intended to control the capacity of 2,000 people per show and ensure an optimal viewing experience for the projections. Additionally, for the first time, all attendees will be seated in stands located at Muelle de la Sal, specifically between the Triana Bridge and the area around Chillida’s Monument to Tolerance.

In the previous edition, also produced by ACCIONA Living & Culture, Navigalia garnered national and international awards: Best Public Event at EVENTEXCO, Best Cultural/Entertainment Event and Best Technical Setup according to EVENTOPLUS magazine, awards from the Spanish Association of Event Companies (AEVEA) for Best Cultural Event 2024, and the FIP FESTIVAL Gold Award for Best Municipal or Governmental Event.

ACCIONA Living & Culture, with a proven track record of projects in 42 countries, holds the ISO 20121 certification, which guarantees that all processes are carried out based on sustainability criteria, and that all its activities are CO2 emission neutral. The company has made a significant contribution to the development of sustainable practices in the planning and production of museums, exhibitions, and events, achieving carbon neutrality in 2016.
