Msheireb Museums comprises four restored traditional Qatar houses in the Msheireb Properties Downtown development in Doha, Qatar. The houses have been designed to create unique thematic museums in the heritage quarter.
Bin Jelmood House is dedicated to the history of slavery in the region. Among these is an outstanding original short film about traditional pearl fishing in the waters of the Persian Gulf.
Company House pays tribute to the Qatar workers who were pioneers in the exploitation and extraction of the country’s petroleum. Of special significance is a theatre in which a large format audiovisual film, shot in 4k technology, is projected on three synchronized screens creating a stunning audio-visual surround experience.
Mohammed bin Jassim House is a place of living memories where visitors encounter the history of the old Msheireb neighborhood and where the ambitious renovation project that is underway is showcased through numerous interactive and recreations including an interactive media dish.
Radwani House recreates a traditional Qatar house displaying original furniture and decor typical of the area in the first half of the twentieth century.
