ACCIONA Cultura was in charge of the comprehensive coordination, logistics, assembly and technical clerk support of the event, which included a broad artistic program across the city of Bilbao.

The summit brought political leaders, companies and NGOs together to discuss social and community change from the 1st to the 3rd of June.

ACCIONA Cultura was in charge of organizing and setting up all the activities for The Wellbeing Project’s first Wellbeing Summit for Social Change, an international meeting that broght together leaders of social change, political personalities, artists and business people from more than 60 countries, who work on the intersection of individual and collective well-being.

The three-day summit, held in Bilbao from the 1st to the 3rd of June 2022, featured more than 50 speakers and about 1,000 attendees, and included talks, panel discussions and workshops to reflect on how to achieve environments that support individual and social well-being.

The Wellbeing Summit was also open to the citizens of Bilbao through urban art installations, performing arts, and experiences that seek to emphasize the importance of aesthetic and sensory enjoyment, as well as culture, for the well-being of society.

More than 56 contemporary artists from all over the world were part of the artist track and created works that were on display in 10 venues spread across the city, including the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum. In parallel, the summit included a broad program of cultural activities (such as theatrical, musical or poetic performances), open to the public from May 31st onwards.

The summit was inaugurated by the mayor of Bilbao, Juan Mari Aburto, 1 June.

ACCIONA Cultura was responsible for the organization and the comprehensive production of the summit, whose tasks included the booking of venues, technical clerk support, guest logistics, catering, event branding, the event’s website and app, streaming, technical production and volunteer management, among others. In this way, ACCIONA’s subsidiary carried out 360º coordination services that made it possible to hold more than 30 events in 10 venues across the city in less than 3 days.
